Anne Arundel County police have arrested a man they say tried to steal a car.
It happened Saturday afternoon in the 7,400 block of Railroad Avenue in Harmans.
Police say 43 year old, Gary Ensor, of Manchester, Pennsylvania is facing multiple charges including attempted carjacking.
Police say Ensor crashed a vehicle before trying to steal a car nearby. Ensor's vehicle was struck by an Amtrak train after the crash.
Police say a woman heard the noise of the crash and walked outside to investigate the noise seeing Ensor in her vehicle. She told police that she yelled at the suspect and he ran off.
Police say Ensor is also facing drug charges after Saturday's incident.
