Anne Arundel County Police are looking for two men they say robbed an Annapolis cab driver at gunpoint Saturday night.
The 56-year-old Yellow Checker Cab driver told police that he was called to Roosevelt Drive at around 8:30 p.m. for a fare. When he arrived, two male suspects approached him on either side of the cab, displayed weapons, and then took of with an undetermined amount of cash and the victim's cell phone.
Canine and helicopter units were sent to the scene but no suspects were found. Residents told police they never called for a cab.
The suspects are described at two males between the ages of 16 and 20. They were wearing all black clothing when the crime occurred. One was armed with a sawed off shotgun or rifle. The second was armed with a black semiautomatic pistol.
