braVo! for Breast Cancer

Reported by: Dave McHugh
Last Update: 10/15/2008 11:43 am
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and there are certainly many organizations around the country and around Baltimore that work to not only raise awareness, but also raise money to help fight breast cancer.

Today on Good Morning Maryland, Jamie chats with former WMAR morning anchor Rudi Miller about the braVo! event and calendar.

braVo! is in its third year and provides an opportunity to race money for the braVo! Financial Assistance Fund. That fund helps patients at the Herman & Walter Samuelson Breast Cancer Center at Northwest Hospital and the Alvin & Lois Lapidus Cancer Institute at Sinai Hospital.

According to the braVo! website, "braVo! is a unique display and sale of handcrafted artwork using a woman's bra as the canvas."

Jamie and Rudi talk about the event and show off the calendar. Jamie also surprises Rudi will walk down memory lane.
