Komen Race Headquarters Opens in Hunt Valley

In preparation of the 2008 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure to be held on Sunday, October 19, Komen Maryland will officially open its temporary (September 11 - October 19) headquarters in the former Champions Billiards shop located at Hunt Valley Towne Centre.

This location will serve as the site for weeklong walk in registration, T-shirt pick-up, volunteer orientations, race meetings and more. As part of their sponsorship of the Race, Greenberg Gibbons is donating the use of the facility for the month.   

The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure marks Maryland’s largest single-day fundraising event.  Governor Martin O’Malley and Baltimore County Executive Jim Smith are Co-Honorary Chairs of this year’s Race.
