CCBC Hosts Job Fair

Reported by: Sherrie Johnson
Last Update: 4/02/2009 9:53 am

The unemployment rate in Maryland is 6.2 percent.  This means many people will turn up at the 2009 Spring Job Fair sponsored by the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC).

The job fair will be held on the Catonsville Campus from 10am to 2pm in the K building room 100.  Students and the community will have the chance to connect and interview with potential employers.

This is the second job fair in a week.  There was another job fair on Monday in Downtown Baltimore where lines wrapped around the building. On Thursday CCBC wants to help more people looking for work in this sluggish economy.

Employers from the health care, finance, non-profit, federal, state and county government agencies will be at the job fair.  CCBC will host another job fair on May 1st at the Essex campus.
