My taste for television news came at a young age. I fell in love with anchoring and reporting after working on the “news” for my high school’s morning announcements. It’s been an adventure ever since.

I graduated from the Pennsylvania State University after four years at the main campus. I started paying my dues right away thanks to my first job – which had me broadcasting forecasts to radio stations in the middle of the night for Accuweather. I spent several years in radio before making the switch to television. I worked as a reporter, anchor and talk show host at stations in suburban Philadelphia and suburban Washington, D.C. as well as State College, PA.

I made the jump to TV in 2002…taking a job with the NBC affiliate down the road in Hagerstown, MD. Then in 2003 I moved north to work in the Harrisburg Bureau for the FOX affiliate in Central Pennsylvania. After a year, I was promoted to Bureau Chief. And in 2006 – I won an Emmy award for Breaking News. But after four years with FOX – I needed a new challenge. So I packed up my family (again) and came to Baltimore to work as a reporter with the Investigative team here at ABC2.

I’m a Pennsylvania native and a die-hard Nittany Lion fan (I’ll only root for the Terps during Basketball season because my heart belongs to JoePa when it comes to football, sorry Ralph). And my husband, Mark, and I have a little boy named Cooper.

That’s the scoop on me. But this job is about you. I tell stories for a living…but they’re your stories. I need to know what’s important to you…what you’ve seen and heard in your communities. So, with that said - please send me your story ideas and tips.
