ABC 2News reporter Brittney Gordon is proud to finally return to Maryland, covering news in her hometown! Born and raised in Baltimore, Brittney is a graduate of Woodlawn High School and the University of Maryland. After leaving College Park in 2001, Brittney moved to New York City where she spent two years working as a Broadcast Associate for The Early Show on CBS. In 2003 she left to become a general assignment reporter at WICU-TV in Erie, PA. After three years of lake effect snow, Brittney jumped at the opportunity to work at WMAR in March of 2006.

In her spare time Brittney enjoys traveling, reading, and catching up with friends and family. She is committed to her community, serving as a Big Sister in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Central Maryland. She also serves as a Girl Scout Leader in the Park Heights Community. Brittney is an active member of the Baltimore Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
