Daily from 10 am, with the last tour scheduled for 9 pm.
Free with paid admission to the Maryland State Fair.
Located in the Cow Palace at the Birthing Center.
The Agricultural Fair Tours hosted daily by The University of Maryland in cooperation with the Maryland State Fair will provide factual and fun answers to fairgoers' questions about all aspects of agriculture. If you’ve ever wondered what the difference is between a heifer and a steer or a goat and a sheep, but were too afraid to ask, fear not. The University of Maryland agriculture professors and students, dressed in red coveralls, will lead fairgoers through the Maryland State Fair barns and introduce them to exhibitors who will answer specific questions regarding their animals or exhibits. The tours will proceed through The Cow Palace, The Milking Parlor, The Swine Barn, The Sheep & Goat Barn, The Horse Show Ring and The Rabbits and Poultry Building.
