Hampstead, Md - If you want to try your hand at the art of pottery, then Carroll County and Shiloh Pottery may be the place for you.
Located just outside Hampstead, Shiloh Pottery sits on 47 acres of farmland Ken Hankins and his family have called home for more than 30 years. In addition his goats, chickens, peacocks and various projects, Ken’s pottery studio sits atop a hill just beyond his family’s home.
There, you can either purchase some of Ken’s and his students' creations or take part in scheduled classes to master the art yourself.
