A new report found 42 percent of kids age eight and under have some kind of tablet.
The numbers increased from 2013, when just seven percent of young children had their own device.
Researchers also found that kids now spend an average of 48 minutes per day looking at device screens, tripling over the past four years.
However, 67 percent said their children's screen time improved their ability to learn.
