Buying a Starbucks dark roast coffee or latte for your friend can now be done in 140 characters or less.
The company is launching a program called @Tweetacoffee. Anyone with a Starbucks account can send their friends a gift card through their Twitter account, according to ABC News. All you have to do is log onto your Starbucks account, type in your friend's Twitter handle and hit the Tweet Your eGift button.
Recipients will receive a link to redeem their gift card. The next time they're buying coffee they just open the link on their phone and the cashier scans the bar code.
Starbucks has a similar gift-sharing program with Facebook.
