With a surge in the number of children and pets dying in hot cars, a popular navigation app now has a new safety feature to remind users not to forget their children and furry friends.
Waze launched the feature called "child reminder" when it released its latest update.
It will now alert drivers to check the back seat once they've reached their destination. Drivers can customize the alert to include their child's or pet's name.
