Study: Some Black Friday deals are recycled from last year

Savvy shoppers look forward to Black Friday as a day to clean up on door busting deals.

But Phillip Dengler, who runs the site BestBlackFriday.com, a guide to Black Friday deals, is warning consumers that some 2016 deals may be repeats.

Dengler studied 25 stores, analyzing their Black Friday circulars from this year and last year, and found that almost all of the stores repeated at least one deal from last year.

He also found that 13 out of 25 stores had at least one repeated deal more expensive than in 2015. For stores charging more this year, the average increase is $11.88.
