Mega Millions tickets are going up and the odds of you winning the prize are going down.
The tickets will go up from $1 to $2.
A change to the rules will also decrease the odds of winning in order to boost the jackpots.
Players will have to pick from 70 numbers for the first set of picks and 25 for the second. Currently, it's 75 for the first and 15 for the second.
The changes take effect nationwide October 28 for the drawing October 31.
