It is the same Target shoppers love, just smaller.
Maryland's newest so-called "mini-Target" celebrates its grand opening on Sunday.
The new Bethesda location is one-third the size of a regular Target store. It is approximately 35,000 square feet.
It is located at The Shops at Wisconsin Place.
Shoppers will not be able to be large items such as office desks, futons or 50-inch TVs, but the store stocks smaller household items like pillows, table lamps and smaller TVs. The store does include a grocery section and pharmacy.
Other merchandise includes apparel, accessories, toys, sporting goods, health products, beauty products and technology.
Mini-Target customers can park in an adjacent parking garage for free up to two hours.
This is the third mini-Target in the DMV area.
