Michael Phelps gets Wheaties Lifetime Achievement box

Olympic champion Michael Phelps will be honored with a Wheaties Lifetime Achievement box, the first in the cereal's history.

It's the third Wheaties box for Phelps, a Baltimore native.

The swimmer has won a total of 23 gold medals

Wheaties first put Phelps on its iconic box in 2004, after he won six gold and two bronze medals. In 2012, he was back on the Wheaties box after he won 22 career medals.

His latest Wheaties box will appear on store shelves in the U.S. within a few weeks.
