Kashi Company has voluntarily recalled a limited number of its products because of a potential Listeria contamination.

The company said it has received no reports of illness to date but is taking action “as part of its commitment to the health and safety of the people who eat its food.”

The products being recalled are Kashi trail mix chewy granola bars, Bear Naked soft baked granola and Bear Naked cinnamon + sunflower butter.

Kashi said that no other Kashi or Bear Naked products are affected by the recall, and that products in Canada are not impacted by the U.S. recall.

Infections with Listeria can be serious and even fatal. Otherwise healthy individuals may only suffer short-term symptoms. Listeria infections can cause miscarriages and stillbirths in pregnant women.

Customers who have purchased recalled products should discard them and contact Kashi for a full refund by calling their consumer hotline at 1-977-747-2467, Monday through Friday, 6 a.m.-3 p.m. PST.
