Frank Abagnale, Jr. is one of the most famous con artists of all time. Leonardo DiCaprio played him in the movie "Catch Me If You Can."
Now the expert on security and forgery wants to help others from being scammed. He spoke at an AARP fraud prevention event in Indianapolis Thursday.
He said most people are honest and just don't believe that someone is out to deceive them. He said the most important thing to do is protect yourself.
Abagnale has worked with the FBI for 40 years.
