Calphalon recalled two million contemporary cutlery knives due to a laceration hazard.
The company said the Contemporary Cutlery carving, chef, paring, santoku and utility knives can break during use.
Calphalon has received 27 reportsof people cutting their fingers or hands, including four that required stitches.
There have also been more than 31,000 reports of the knives breaking.
The knives were sold individually and in sets between August of 2008 and March 2016.

Customers should stop using the recalled knives and contact the company for a replacement.
