Tim began his broadcast television career way back in 1972 when straight out of high school he got his first professional job as a studio crew person at the Washington County, Maryland Closed Circuit Educational TV System.

What are you most proud of when it comes to your work?

I'm most proud of the fact that I've been producing TV news stories every day in Baltimore for over 30 years. Learned a lot and met an incredibly interesting array of people along the way.

Interesting fact(s) about your personal life?

I can play a pretty decent guitar.

What do you love about living in the Baltimore area?

The people. They have humbled and amused me in so many ways. Baltimore can be a tough city, But the people are resilient and kind.

Favorite local hangouts?

Memorial Stadium...I know, It's no longer there. But when it was, it was my favorite place on Planet Earth. M&T Bank Stadium and Camden Yards now fill the void admirably.

All-time favorite movie and song? Why?

Movie:  All the President's Men -- Watergate fascinated me and made me think of becoming a journalist.  The movie is a masterpiece.

Song: Thunder Road -- I saw Springsteen sing this in 1975 before Born to Run was even released. Its simple theme of "coming along for the ride" has lasted almost 40 years for me.

Apps you can't live without?

ABC2 of course and Twitter.  I also have a golf game that kills time for me.

What were you like as a kid?

Skinny, a good little shortstop and too smart sometimes for my own good. Oh yeah... and humble.
