When and why did you join WMAR?
I wanted to learn more about digital journalism and how it can impact news coverage.
Where else have you worked and what was your oddest job?
I've worked at a few different places over the years, including the Annapolis Capital, Dundalk Eagle and the Maryland Gazette. I've also freelanced for numerous publications.
My oddest job would have to be my time as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Middle Eastern country of Jordan. You really learn a lot about yourself when placed in a country so different than your own. I am grateful for the chance to have experienced that.
What are you most proud of when it comes to your work?
I am most proud when my work evokes change of some kind, whether it's the changing of a law or the cleaning up of a tire dump.
Interesting fact(s) about your personal life?
I'm left-handed. I'm Baltimore born and raised. I believe in the power of coffee.

The typical book nerd who took over her high school newspaper as a freshman.
