You may remember Kelly Swoope...she made a guest appearance in Baltimore for the ABC2 News team in October 2002. During the sniper shooting spree, Kelly was one of several reporters from Scripps Howard to come and help out in our coverage. She liked it so much, she decided to come back and make Baltimore her home.

While Kelly spent the past 8 years in Tampa, her coming to ABC2 and Baltimore is a homecoming of sorts. Her parents, sister, husband and their children all live in Northern Virginia. It's the first time she's been this close to family in more than 10 years.

Prior to Tampa, Kelly worked in Milwaukee and in Cincinnati at WCPO, another Scripps Howard station.

For fun, Kelly loves traveling, shopping and outdoor exercise with her husband, Tim.
