Justin received his Meteorology degree from Cornell University, and was one of the youngest people to get the AMS seal a year later. His first jobs were in the 'snow belt' of Syracuse (WSTM) and Binghamton (WBNG) NY. He arrived in Baltimore in 1997 to work for WBAL. Five years later he joined the ABC-2 Storm-Team, and has been here since February, 2003. He has also worked free-lance for WPHL in Philadelphia. He was given the title 'Best in Baltimore 2000 and 2006 “by Baltimore Magazine.

Since 2000, Justin has taught at Villa Julie College. His classes include Introduction to Meteorology and Climate Change: Science and Society. Besides being "That guy in the snow" on WBAL, some more memorable experiences locally include: The first helicopter traffic reporter on WBAL, live coverage from Ocean City during Hurricane Isabel, and live broadcasts from schools on Good Morning Maryland.

He also serves on the panel of content development for Science on a Sphere with The Maryland Science Center on a few projects.

Justin also co hosts Weather Talk. The only radio show in the country dedicated all weather. More information can be found on his WEATHER TALK website www.weathertalkradio.com

In his free time, Justin enjoys playing guitar, golf, and exercise including biking and running and weights (3rd place in NY State Bench Press 1995). Daily hikes are a must with his wife, son and dog.

Justin is the youngest and only meteorologist to get his CBM (Certified Broadcast Meteorologist)

If you have a good weather story or storm pictures, send them in an e-mail. He will try to get it on the air.
